Nevermind

You Me & Us has a show tomorrow so we are going to practice tonight. We started recording our 7” which will be out around August. We need to start booking tour soon. School is going alright for me, I’m not trying too hard but I’m getting by. I’m gonna start shooting film again. I just have this huge fear that if I don’t document my life I won’t remember it or something. Hi Ho Silver Away still has a release show trying to be worked out, hopefully at the end of this month. Not much to say, I feel that I haven’t been doing shit when I write this but lately I feel that there’s not enough time in the day.

Catch Up

Wow, I haven’t written about anything important in a really long time. Here’s what I’ve done.

Summer 2010
I went on tour with both of the bands I’m in. Hi Ho Silver, Away! and Carlee Hendrix & The Whole Catalog. Hi Ho Silver Away went to Florida and back and it was a ton of fun. We also went to Oregon and back. Corvallis Oregon is beautiful and has some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Carlee Hendrix & The Whole Earth catalog went to North Carolina and back, on the way back we traveled through the midwest. Some of the coolest places we visited were Knoxville, we played at the Birdhouse and it was easily the best show on tour, everyone there rules! Ashville, North Carolina was beautiful, and Southbend, Indiana was a great time and I really want to go and visit for an extended period of time. That’s a super short summary of a really awesome set of tours.

Fall/Winter 2010

Not much to say about the rest of 2010, both bands took time off. I went to school.

Spring 2011
So this is where we are now. Hi Ho Silver, Away! has a new split coming out with Quick Attack and it sounds great, our friend Hudson recorded it in his home. Carlee’s music went a different direction so we decided to change names and we have a demo up right now HERE. We are planning to record a 7inch in the weeks to come. Both bands are also planning to go on tour again this summer! I am doing classes online now and I work graveyard shift.

Nothing to show for

I’ve been drawing my whole life and it’s really been my life goal for the majority of it. I experimented all of high school and I finally was in a comfort zone, I have nothing to show for it really though I need to scan more drawings of mine and I need to draw more.
