You Me & Us has a show tomorrow so we are going to practice tonight. We started recording our 7” which will be out around August. We need to start booking tour soon. School is going alright for me, I’m not trying too hard but I’m getting by. I’m gonna start shooting film again. I just have this huge fear that if I don’t document my life I won’t remember it...

Catch Up
Wow, I haven’t written about anything important in a really long time. Here’s what I’ve done.
Summer 2010 I went on tour with both of the bands I’m in. Hi Ho Silver, Away! and Carlee Hendrix & The Whole Catalog. Hi Ho Silver Away went to Florida and back and it was a ton of fun. We also went to Oregon and back. Corvallis Oregon is beautiful and has some of the nicest...

Nothing to show for
I’ve been drawing my whole life and it’s really been my life goal for the majority of it. I experimented all of high school and I finally was in a comfort zone, I have nothing to show for it really though I need to scan more drawings of mine and I need to draw more.

So I started school on Monday, I’m taking American Sign Language, Astronomy, and Midi/Digital Recording class. Sign Language is very cool and I’ve been practicing non stop. Starting tomorrow I’m going to the elementary school my mom works at to help in the deaf/mute class, it will be a good learning experience for me as well. I went to go see my favorite band Ceremony tonight. It was awesome, I got a huge bruise on my hip, bruised my elbow, scratches on my arms and back, and a huge bump on my foot, fuck everything hurts. It was really fun other than that! They played a new song it makes me really excited for their new release. If I find some pictures I will post them.
Trash Talk
So today I went to see Trash Talk twice, first in LA at 3pm and then in Riverside at 8pm. It was really fun and they played with Rotting Out and Touche’ Amore’, all the bands played a really great set. I got punched in the nose but I don’t think it’s broken, something is up with it though. Oh well, if I find any pictures from the shows I’ll definitley post some.

I love my bicycle.
Today I rode 50 miles on my bike with Jimmy, it was really fun, the wind on the way back sucked, the sandstorms also sucked, but it made it a bit more memorable! I’m sure I’ll do it again soon, but with more friends!

Recording!
So today, or technically yesterday since I am writing this late, was the first day of recording for Hi Ho Silver Away! We are recording drum tracks Tuesday-Thursday, it went well today and I am really anxious for the days to come. I also got all the records I ordered.
